Motivations for Trying to Witness
The thought that something I may do or say would be used of God
to affect where a person spends eternity is very scary stuff.
Most of us would shrink from such responsibility.
Certainly it should take a well trained expert to handle such a job.
I would very likely screw it up.
Fortunately these fears are not founded because we cannot screw it up.
The impact of our witness is entirely in the hands of God.
All we have to do is try, and leave the rest to God.
And we are commanded by God to do just that.
What an incredible honor that God should give us this task.
He has also given us a helper — The Holy Spirit — He will
guide us in what to say and do.
Note the following verses for additional encouragement:
